the machines. at 9 o'clock
come down town and
meet mother & Ida &
Mr. Bennett. go to Wood-
land Wash. (1)
to see the
eclipse get on the
wrong road a couple
of times, B_ cousin &
aunt was along we
had three machines.
crossed Lewis river on
a hand ferry. got to
Woodland about 1:30 eat
lunch and wait for
the eclipse. it took place
at 3:58 very pretty. start
back immediately. got to
P_ at 6:30 mother & I go
home to meet the rest at
8:30. meet most of the
crowd all except Mr. & Mrs....


Reese and Mr. Reese
had to work on his
machine. then we
go to the oaks. have a
nice time leave there
about 11:30 go up by boat
come back on the car.
B_, Mother, sis, Mrs. & Mr. Keyes
Francis, Mr. Bennett, Ida
& Miss Harding. leave them
to meet again at 8:30 Sun.
morning for the highway

Sun - June 9, '18
meet at the garage Mr. B_ &
Ida dont go because Mr. B_
is sick Francis & I get
the cars down. Then I
drive Mr. B_'s car to 57 &
Sandy where we leave
them and start out on the
highway (2)
. Get lunch at...
